*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gavin stared out the window at Redd and 'Rachel' he was trying to figure out what they were saying, but quickly ducked down whenever one looked his way. He was getting nothing out of it, so he moved on to other things like waiting for Katrina to return.

Katrina checked to make sure no one was following, then slipped her dirty gown off and put a clean one on. She only had a few dresses, and she was only able to bring half of them, so laundry would need to be done more frequently than when at the castle.
--
Mariah nodded. "Good. Well, it has been a most delightful evening. I cannot thank you enough for coming," she said, a bit more exaggerated than she really meant.
Edwin averted his eyes from Edmund and listened to his mother's boring flattery.
--
Maud whistled to herself as she picked up a few stray garments off Gwen's floor.

Gwen smiled. She was about to say something, when a servant came over. "You're carriage is ready."
"Oh." When smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry, I must be going. Thank you for the lovely Evening, I hope to see you again soon." (didn't interrupt your evil schemes did I?)

Katrina sat down on the cot. She sifted through her bag, then went to the ladder to descend.
--
(Nope, you're good. :))
Mariah nodded. "Ah, yes, ok course. I understand," she said. "Edwin, escort her to her carriage," she commanded, and walked away.
Edwin held his arm it to Gwen, not for either his or Gwen's sake, but rather, for his mother's.
Edmund and Richard were already out by the carriage. Edmund was mounted, Richard wasn't.
"I hope your evening was enjoyable," Edwin said to Gwen.
---
Linnet cried herself to sleep, on the hard wooden floor behind her door.

Fawn paced her room, her thoughts in a great big frenzy.

Gavin glanced at Katrina "They sure are taking awhile" He commented, stealing a quick glance out the window.

"Yes, most enjoyable." Gwen flashed him a smile, and got into the carriage. Seeing Richard, she became alarmed. "Where is Lady Linnet?"
