Alena shook her head. "Feelings don't change that much in a week."

Gwens jaw dropped. "Pr...Linnet are we talking about the same Peter who did that to you LAST NIGHT?"
 
"If you insist on thinking that about me, then you tell me your feelings!" Edwin exclaimed, exasperated.

Mariah hummed to herself. In her mind, Edwin loved Gwen, and she, hopefully. loved him! That would make the heartbreak all the more harder, she thought.

Linnet, extremely blushing, nodded her head vigorously. "Yes, him. There was, you could say, a large misunderstanding," she explained.
 
Gavin glanced at Katrina "How can you possibly get in trouble? You're the PRINCESS! You're like, invincible and stuff. And you're the princesses niece, Katrina. Making you the...is there a word for that?" He frowned "And Redd's the...future king?" He was genuinely worried about the kingdom.

Katrina thought it was the time for truth. "No, princesses actually can get in trouble. Serious trouble. Especially if their mother be Queen Mariah," she said timidly. She glanced at Jenel, then continued. "And I'm not her niece, nor Redd her husband. I'm actually um, her uh maid..." She trailed off, and looked at the ground.

"Scared. That's what I am." Alena sighed. "I'm on the brink of death. I'd say you're a little late."

Gwen cocked her head to the side, and waited for Linnet to explain.
 
Edwin raised an eyebrow. "No, that's not what I meant. You know what I mean," he persisted.

Linnet fidgeted. "I don't know how it came about exactly, but the next thing I knew, Peter was telling me he loved me, and I him!"
 
Gavin's heart pounded "An assassin?" He squeaked "That's..." He took a deep breath and told the truth "Deeply unnerving" He turned toward Katrina, his eyes still on Redd "Being a maid's not a bad thing" He took her hand "I'm a thief...and starting to question if that's really what I want"
