*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Fent walked back to the door grumbling. "What do you want?"
"The princess Gwen is missing and if you do not let me search this house, then I shall have to take you to the king of Alwick!" Edmund wasn't exactly lying. As a knight, it was his duty to protect the welfare of the king and Royal family. And Gwen technically was missing.

Emilee smiled and pet the horses. She didn't hear what Edmund was saying

Fent was becoming nervous, and it was becoming hard to hide. "You have no right!" He slid his dagger out of his belt.
Edmund smirked. "I have every right, as I am a knight of Alwick. Now let me search this property before I take measures you shall regret," he threatened.

Fawn stood up, but quickly sat back down. Her head was spinning, and her back hurt dreadfully

Knowing that he would find Gwen, Fent knew he had to do something. He was caught in between wanting to keep Gwen hidden, and not wanting to permanently injure the man.

Redd heard crashing in the woods to his left. He rode closer, and dismounted to continue on foot. A large horse crashed through the bush just ahead of his. "Fawn?!"

Gwen threw open the door. "Edmund?!" Running over, she hugged Edmund.

"I told you to leave." Fent said coldly.

Gwen whirled around to face him. "Why did you not tell me it was him!" She accused angrily. "I thought it was an assassin or some murderer looking for a ransom!"

Edmund returned the hug, smiling broadly.

Emilee hurried inside to see what the commotion was about. She smirked at the defeated Fent

"Hello?" Fawn called it again. She didn't see her horse and was getting worried

Fent sighed, this wasn't going to end well. "Would anyone like some tea." Maybe he could slip something in it, and make an escape.

Redd saw a vivid green garment through the leaves. "Fawn?" He hurried over. "Are you alright?"

Edmund kissed Gwen on the forehead. "Are you okay?" He asked, worried

Emilee nodded. "Uh, yes, tea would be nice," she absentmindedly said. She didn't notice the chestnut mare leaving the other two horses.

Fawn rubbed her neck. "I think so." She stood up slowly with the help of a tree. "Where have you been?"

Gwen smiled. "We should leave." She glanced quickly over at Emilee. "What about her?" She asked in a hushed voice.

Fent nodded, and put a kettle on the fire.

Redd shrugged. "Looking for Gwen. Can you walk?"
