*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Edmund was about to explain when he heard hooves. "Shh," he whispered
--
Fawn frowned. She sped her horse
--
Emilee shook her head. "Good tea."
--

Gwen sat quietly, not moving. A large bay horse trudged past.

Redd nudged his horse into a canter, quickly closing the ground between them. "Are you alright?" He called.

"Good tea doesn't answer my question." Fent pressed.

Edmund held his breath as the stranger rode by.
--
Fawn focused intently on the road ahead of them. "Yes," she replied harshly.
--
Emilee rolled her eyes. "Oh nothing. Anyway, if I'm staying the night, tell me a bit about yourself," she said

Only Gwen's eyes moved until the rider was out of earshot. "Do you think they were after me?" She asked in a worried tone.

Redd frowned. "Clearly you are not. What is it? Are you ill?"

Fent thought for a moment of something interesting he could say. "My name is Fent?"

--
Fawn shook her head. "No! I'm fine," she snapped.
--
Emilee giggled. "And?"

Gwen's eyes widened in fear. "On no! I cant go back! What would they do to me? And what about Edwin? Hes already in love with his servant! And I with you. Oh no. What am I going to do!"

Redd huffed irritatedly. "You are obviously lying, so just tell me so that I may find a solution."

"Umm...this was my father's house, but it was passed to me when he died. I wasn't told about his death until recently, the accident happened four years ago." Fent paused before continuing. "My mother lives far from here, on a dairy farm. And my younger sister is married in the village. Is that enough?"

Edmund grinned happily. "And you finally admitted it," he said.
--
Fawn slowed her horse. "You're obviously lying about things, too. So no, I shall not tell you," she said hastily.
--
Emilee nodded. "I'm sorry to hear about your father," she said quietly.
---
Linnet asked a servant to bring up a small vase of water to her room, then she proceeded in that direction.
