*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Katrina went to wherever the pie was and checked it. It wasn't quite ready.
--
Maud opened the door for the little princess. "Let's go up to your room and you can have some tea and cake," she suggested.

Richard left them and went to his own room in the castle
--
Mariah finally calmed down. She sat down like a prim and proper queen at her desk to answer some letters regarding Jenel
Gavin trotted up to the cabin and tied the horse to a tree outside. He ran up to the door and knocked.
---
Adrienne grabbed Calder and sulkily followed Maud into the castle.
---
Jephry rode his horse out into an open field, his falcon perched on one hand. He waited patiently for some small unsuspecting creature to come along.

Katrina eagerly opened the door. "Perfect timing," she said. "The pie is nearly ready."
--
Maud asked a servant to bring up a tray of tea and cake for Adrienne, then she took the girl to her room. "Let's get you into your nightdress," she said.
---
Richard paused in the stairway. His mind involuntarily went to Kat. He chided himself and continued up.

"Oh good, I'm anxious to try it" Gavin smiled, glancing out the window at the horse.
---
"Okay" Adrienne sniffled, setting Calder down on the bed.

Katrina smiled at him. "I am too. The berries made a lovely pie, even if it isn't tasty," she chuckled.
--
Maud unlaced Adrienne's gown. "Step out," she said. The servant brought in the tray with tea and cake.

Katrina added another log to the dying fire.
---
"She'll will come back," Maud promised. "Just not very soon," Richard added as he walked away.
--
Linnet shook her head. "No, your highness. She just up and disappeared or left yesterday morning. Maud found no trace of anything of her intention to leave in the bedroom," she explained.
--
Edmund smiled slightly. "Then lets go back," he said.

Fawn had no idea where Redd had gone, and she had no intention of running after him like a lost puppy.
--
Edwin nodded. "Yes, I want to help you," he told Peter.
--
Emilee couldn't sleep. Too many things were on her mind

Gwen sighed. "I'm sorry. You wouldn't be here if it wasn't for me."

Peter smiled. "Thank you."

Edmund began walking in no particular direction. "No, it's fine. No need to apologize–(*breaks into song*)–," he said.
---
Edwin opened the door to leave. "Now you owe me," he said as he left.
--
Fawn cantered her horse in the direction of Alnwick castle.

Katrina smiled at him. "I am too. The berries made a lovely pie, even if it isn't tasty," she chuckled.
--
Maud unlaced Adrienne's gown. "Step out," she said. The servant brought in the tray with tea and cake.
"It looks wonderful" Gavin smiled, sniffing the pie.
---
Adrienne obeyed, and turned toward the servant "Ooh, cake!"

Katrina blushed. The pie, In truth, was rather ugly, but for a maid it was decent enough. "Shall I cut it now?" She asked
--
(Oh how easily does ones mind wander when you're 8)
Maud laid the dirty gown on the bed, then helped Adrienne into the nightgown.
--
"I believe Sir Richard and–" Linnet hesitated, "And Princess Adrienne went out to search. And Maud sent out a contingent of soldiers to search, but heaven knows they won't have any luck, so I sent out the assassins," she explained.

"That would be wonderful" Gavin smiled "It smells great"
---
"Thank you Maud" Adrienne said "Where's the cake?"
