*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Katrina put the basket back on her arm. "No, no need to do that," she said. "I'm used to riding bareback anyway."
--
Edmund nodded. He led the horse away from the shed and onto the dusty road.
--
Emilee did likewise. "Tis very nice of ye to come," she batted her eyelashes. "I hate for ye to miss out on necessary things or such, but I'm pleased to 'ave the company."
"Great, me too" Gavin smiled. He left off the part about how he'd never ridden a horse in his life. It looked easy enough though.

Katrina stepped up onto a stump and mounted the horse easily. She adjusted her skirt to cover her legs properly. "If we stay a t a steady trot, we should be there by noon," she said.

Edmund began walking faster, the horse doing likewise. He smiled up at Hwen.

Emilee smiled sweetly at Fent. She looked away, deep in thought, not sure wether she ought to tell him or not.

"How far too the cottage?" Gwen asked after they had been riding for a while.

Fent looked over at Emilee. "Are you doing alright? Do you need to stop?"

Edmund looked behind him. Emilee and Fent weren't that far behind. "At least another mile and a half," he said.

Emilee rolled her eyes. "I'm perfectly fine. I'm a lot 'ardier than I look," se told Fent. "We can speed up if ye want, I like a good canter. Plus, we can beat 'em to my house."

(Sorry it took me so long to reply, my computer's being a jerk to me...again...)

Gavin followed Katrina's example, and got on the horse easy enough "That's not too bad. Which way?"

(No problem. Computers like to do that sometimes)

Katrina pulled the rein a little. "That way, get on the road and head west for nearly a mile," she said.

Gwen nodded sleepily. "Not too far." She replied with a yawn.

Fent smiled and nudged his horse into a canter.

Richard changed out of his dusty horse hair covered clothes Into something nicer for supper.

Linnet slowed her horse down. The evening was lovely, and she was in no hurry to return to the castle.

Edwin (oh Eddy boy where art thou? I keep misplacing him :/  )

Maud closed the door behind her. She went to Linnet's room to build the fire
