"Thanks" Gavin said hesitantly, wondering if he should think up some story about how he'd borrowed the horse from his friend, but left it at that and carefully led the horse after Katrina.

The rat sent chills up Gwen's spine. "I'm less sure. Lets just hurry and retrieve my horse. And then leave."
Fent frowned. "Is that why he hits you? When hes drunk?" He asked sadly.

"My name is Vale." She said, smiling, "I was just recently knighted."She explained.
 
Emilee frowned. She didn't andwer, simply went to the door.

Edmund untied Gwen's horse from a rotted post. He slipped the bridle over its head, then set the saddle on it. "Yes, let's hurry."

Fent sighed and followed Emily to the door. "When will he be home?"

Gwen swung into her soft leather saddle. She reached into her saddlebag and felt around for her pouch. Her fingers wrapped around the silky fabric, it was still there. What would she have done without it?
