*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"Tell me." Audric said angrily.

"Thank you." Gwen said tiredly. "You may be dismissed."

(probably not

Mariah frowned. She took a deep breath to calm herself. It was no use lying to the king, so she began, "There's a young knight of Alnwick. A little bird told me that he and the princess were serious, and great lengths would he go to to prevent the marriage of our son to Princess Gwen. So, I, seeing how Sir Edmund was in the princess's trust but was in need of, well, financial help, sent him a note. He should be with her in *some town's name* with the knight right now," Mariah explained. However, she didn't see necessary to add that she signed the note with Audric's seal. As little her husband knew, the better.
---
Maud helped Gwen out of her gown. "Very well, Your Highness. I shall go see to your sister," she said, leaving.
---
Emilee wiped a tear from her face. Despite knowing Fent no more than two days, she missed his company. The house was quiet with just her.
--
Fawn locked her door behind her. She unlocked the drawer of a small chest with a key that hung on a string round her neck.

(Haha, I've got a lot of characters.

(umm? Idk)

Audric ran his hands over his bristly face. He needed to shave. "The treaty will continue as planned." He grumbled. "No more interfering."

(Sorry if Mariah's story didn't match up if you're planning something. I was just making up stuff. I can change whatever if you need)
Mariah frowned. Conversations with Audric never seemed to go in her favor. She turned and silently left the room as she often did. She was completely unaware that Edmund was on his way to say Gwen had returned.
---
Maud stood a moment at Gwen's door, then proceeded down the hall to Adrienne's room. She was suspicious of Gwen's story, and wasn't quite sure what Edmund's part in t was. But she intended to find out. Maybe Linnet would help.
--
Edwin leaned forward in the saddle, eager to get info from connections at Alnwick castle.

Edmund continued riding, nearing where Edwin and Peter were.

Richard rode his horse around the empty jousting place. He had had his squire set up poles to jump over.

Fawn took out a small box from the chest and opened it. She took the thin gold band out and slipped it onto her finger, then held her hand up to see the ring better in the light.

(nope your food.)
Audric stood up and stretched. He was going to go to bed.

Gwen slipped on a silkie nightgown and sat in an overstuffed chair with a book.

Peter galloped past Edwin. "Towards Alnwick. He didn't care Bout Gwen. He only wanted to see Linnet.

(I guess if I'm food then Emilee can wipe a year from her face and Richard can eat a paddock :lau )

(*grabs Audric by his shirt collar and sets him in a chair* I think it's midday right now :idunno)

Mariah requested a tray of tea to be sent to her room. She then went to her room to change for tea and calm her rising temper
--
Edwin rode up beside Peter. "I bet I know why you're really coming," he teased.

Edmund slowed his horse as two riders neared him.
--
Breathing hard, Maud ran to where Linnet was. "Your Ladyship," she slowed down, panting. Linnet smiled sweetly. "Yes, Maud?"

Alena knocked on Mariah's door, holding the tea tray.

Peter rolled his eyes. "You mean under your request?" He replied. .

:)lol: )
Mariah sighed, irritated. "What is it?" She demanded, not bothering to get up. If Audric wanted to come in he could open the door for himself.
--
"Haha, you're coming to see you know who," Edwin laughed. He sped past Peter, nearly colliding with Edmund's and his horse. Edmund gasped when he realized that the prince had just nearly run into him.
---
"Are you glad that the princes is returned?" Maud asked Linnet. Linnet nodded her head slowly. "Of course. Are you?"
"Oh, yes, of course I am. But is it just me, or does her story sound funny?" Maud asked
Linnet shook her head slowly. "No, it sounds perfectly right. Anyways, are you accusing the princess of lying?" Linnet didn't care if Gwen was lying. She just wished to do all she could to protect Gwen from a scandalous story or such.
"No, no your Ladyship. Forgive me," Maud replied quickly. "If you will excuse me," maud turned to leave. Linnet watched the woman leave. As soon as she was gone, Linnet quickly stood up and headed for a more private place: her garden.

Fawn switched the ring to her left hand and held it up again. Lovely. Grinning to herself, Fawn slipped the ring off and put it back in the box and locked the chest.

Alena opened the door nervously. "I-I brought your tea."

Peter chuckled. "You're a bright one!" He called.
"Oh," Mariah smiled sweetly. "I'm sorry my dear, I thought you were–oh, never mind. Put the tea here," she replied.
--
Edwin laughed. He looked at Edmund not recognizing him. Edmund nodded his head respectfully, then rode on.
