*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Linnet gasped. "Kidnapped?! By whom, do you know?"

Maud brought in a tray of tea and food.
---
"Why did you return?" Fawn asked Edmund
-/-
Katrina looked over her shoulder. "Hurry!" She said, smiling. "I can't wait for you to meet my mother!"
---
Edwin strode down the hallway.

Mariah knocked again on Audric's door
Gavin picked up the pace and caught up to Katrina "What's she like?" He asked.

"Sir Edmund found me, and saved me. Hes probably the only reason I'm alive." Gwen explained. At least this one was a half truth.

"What is it you need?" Audric grumbled.

(haha no)

Katrina grinned, glad that Gavin was eager to meet her mother. "Oh, she's perfect. But I'm her daughter so I must say that," she chuckled. Pushing a thorny branch out of the horse's way, she continued. "My mother is very kind, but has her opinions and stands by them. She likes to talk and is sometimes invasive, but I don't really mind. But I think you'll like her."
----
Edwin waited while his horse was slowly being saddled.
---
"I've just come to clear some things up with you, my lord," Mariah said respectfully.
/-
Linnet gasped. "Oh, knight in shining armor?" She giggled, then grew serious again. "Do you know why you were taken?"

Maud froze by the window. She looked at the two young women, then quickly turne her attention to the window again.
---
Fawn smiled sadly. "What's the Matter?" Edmund asked.
---
(Oh ok good. Where is he?

Emilee kicked a huge rat that had scurried across the room. She sighed in disgust, then went to clean the dishes. The house was quiet

"I'm sure I will" Gavin grinned, speeding up a bit "We've got to be getting close" He said excitedly.
---
Adrienne...uh...er...did something :-/

Katrina turned the horse into a small dirt path that led through the forest and to a apple grove. "There it is!" She said excitedly. She pointed to a little thatch roof cottage amidst the trees. A lone woman was sitting in a chair in front of the house.
---
"Nothing," Fawn lied.
"If nothing is indeed the matter, then I must be leaving for Edinburgh," Edmund replied.
---
Richard jumped his horse over a ginormous log and fell off and died. (Kidding kidding kidding :gig bored)

Audric sighed. "Continue."

Gwen shook her head. "Not a clue. Ransom maybe? You know my father would pay it."

Peter walked down the stable isle. "Edwin?"

QUOTE] "whatever you think I did, I must defend myself. I only did it for the sake of the princess," Mariah began. -- Edwin looked up. "Yes?" --- Linnet sighed dreamily. "Was your captor handsome?" She teased Maud watched, very confused, as Edmund embraced Fawn. Edmund then mounted his horse and ride off, leaving Fawn, who disappeared into the shadows. -- :)lau

Audric sat up straighter. "Explain." He commanded.

"You wanted to see me?" Peter asked.

"Oh yes. His mask was absolutely stunning." Gwen joked.

Mariah stopped. "Explain?" She asked, confused. She assumed that audric knew all about it

"Oh, yes. I believe the princess is missing. Care to go with me to Alnwick?" Edwin asked casuaully
--
Linnet laughed. "Well, we ought to go find your father. He's been worried, I'm sure," she said.
Maud quietly slipped out of the room taking the empty tea tray to the kitchen.

Edmund rode in the direction of Edinburgh castle. He knew it would be late when he finally got there, but was sure they'd provide lodging for the night.
Fawn climbed over a fence and ran through the orchard around to the front. She stopped to catch her breath and appear calm in case someone should stop her

"How is forcing a nobleman to take the princess away for her own good." Audric said through gritted teeth.

"Gwen is missing?" Peter asked, surprised. "I wasn't aware."

Gwen shrugged. "Have you seen Sir Alexander anywhere?" She asked hopefully.
