*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"Where is my sister?" Gwen asked. "And have you happen to see Al-Sir Alexander? I'd feel much safer if he were posted outside my door." Gwen jumped when the door flew open. "Linnet!"
:)lol:)
Maud released Gwen immediately when the door opened. "Princess!" Linnet hurried froward to embrace her friend. "Are you okay?" She asked,

Fawn jumped up when Edmund came near. He dismounted and tied his horse in the shade. "Fawn," he smiled at her and held his arms open. Fawn, grinning, accepted the embrace. "I'm glad you came back," she whispered.

Gwen shrugged. "I ran away, was kidnapped, was released, and came home."
Linnet gasped. "Kidnapped?! By whom, do you know?"

Maud brought in a tray of tea and food.
---
"Why did you return?" Fawn asked Edmund

Katrina looked over her shoulder. "Hurry!" She said, smiling. "I can't wait for you to meet my mother!"

Edwin strode down the hallway.

"I do not know." Gwen lied. "Thank you." She said taking a cup.

Audric snored in a chair, in his study.
Linnet poured a cup of tea for herself. "When, how did it happen?" She persisted. She wanted to know every single detail so revenge could be sought on Gwen's captors.

"The princess wanted to return," Edmund bluntly replied.
"What will you tell the queen?" Fawn asked. "I'll tell her just that. The princess wanted to return. I'll have to leave in a moment to tell her."
----
Mariah, fuming at this point, burst into the room. "Aud–" she stopped, realizing her husband was sleeping, not purposefully ignoring her.

Edwin slipped a note under Peter's door, then continued on his way to the stables. He had heard gossip of the princess missing and wanted to find out if it was indeed true.

"I was packing up my camp." Gwen hoped her string of white lies would go unnoticed. "And suddenly I was riding in the lap of a masked man."

Audric winced again the light. "What is it women?"

Peter dried his wet hair with a towel. There was a note on the floor. He picked it up and gently unfolded it. A few minutes later he was out the door, on the way to he stables.

Fawn looked Edmund in the eye. "You really are going back to tell her?" She asked, surprised. "Better I tell her than she hears it by word of some loon servant," Edmund chuckled.
