Anna squeezed his hand. "Some things cannot be helped. You didn't know Katrina was the sister of your betrothed, I didn't know my daughters betrothed knew my other daughter," she chuckled. "Yes, some things cannot be helped."

Emilee, not being the best horse person, had some trouble with her father's stubborn draft horse at first, by after a few kind words and an apple core, the horse was ready to do as she asked. She steered it onto a path in the woods that ran alongside the main dirt road.

Anna shook her head. "I believe if a person truly wishes to change, then they can and will. You are a young man with your whole life before you. There are better occupations than thieving, and I think you know that and intend to change. So no, I don't mind at all," she smiled.

Katrina picked up a fallen pear. She tossed it from hand to hand, then threw it as far as she could at a tree. "Oh, Daisy, why? Why must things change! I almost wish that the past hour never happened, and never would happen!" Daisy, the horse, Ignored Katrina and nibbled at the smashed pear.

Peter rolled his eyes. "You are the most indecisive women that I have ever met." He teased.

"Well...she hasn't officially told me to leave." Alena confessed" But she asked if I had an reletives. And I just know that she is going to send me away to my uncle's. He's horrible Edwin!" She said sniffling.

Edmund walked his horse slowly homeward. The day was getting chilly as the sun began setting, but Edmund didn't wish to speed his already exhausted horse.
