*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

The nurse brought a salve and some ground cayenne to Katrina. "This may sting just a teensy bit," Katrina said softly. She removed the apron strip and applied a good bit of cayenne to the wound.

Jane heard the crash as well and went to see what it was.

Edwin shrugged. "Cliffton's worried about his horse, and the stable lads don't know where it's gone," he said.

Mariah washed her hands thoroughly in a basin of warm water. She stared in disgust at her bloodied gown. Her maid helped her get out of it to put on a new gown.

Maud took the note. "Of course."

Richard rolled his eyes. "Get gone, and don't show your face here again or I'll lock you up," he threatened.
--
"Fawn, I'm glad you were able to make it on such short notice," Edmund said, holding the door open himself. Fawn smiled wearily.

Redd laughed coldly. "Do you think I'm stupid?" He demanded. "All of our maid servants are women. If you served you would have said you were bringing the young prince his tea. Buy seeing as to hes not here, I would guess that you are here to steal."

Audric thought for a moment. "Then he may have his pick of the yearlings this year."

Gwen thanked her a fell onto the bed. "Why do we never have any parties?" She complained"

"I'd like to see you try." Alex challenged.

Edwin chuckled. "Father, you know he'll hate that. He just wants Clyde, the spoiled brat."

Jane stopped at the top of the steps.
--
Maud tried to console the princess. "You parents aren't exactly the party giving type."
--
Richard frowned. He wasn't particularly in the mood to fight a foreign guard, but it would be seen as cowardice to refuse the challenge now. "Fine then," he said. He unsheathed his sword and point the tip of it at Alex. "Get. Out." He demanded
--

Gavin struggled slightly but couldn't do much else.
---
"Steal? Come now, why would i do that?" Cedric asked innocently, backing toward a window.
---
Cliffton headed to his room to sulk.

Audric shrugged. "It seems that it is his only choice for a horse. And this year's foals are of very good stock. He'd be better off with one of them."

"I know. And there is never anything to do." Gwen moaned. "This place is such a bore."

Alex just chuckled and walked his horse past Richard.

Upon hearing the even louder crash, Jane hurried on. She stopped in the doorway of Cliffton's room and gasped.

Edwin crossed his arms. "Then I shall tell him that. The little brat should be grateful, and if he isn't, then I'll take the colt," he replied.

Katrina figured it would be better to get Gavin inside somewhere comfortable, but he was unconscious and she and the nurse alone weren't strong enough to carry him. The nurse applied a thick coating of the awful smelling salve to the wound. "Gavin, can you hear me?" Katrina asked.

Mariah stood stiffly while her maid laced up the clean dress.
---
Smirking, Richard stuck his leg out to trip Alex

Maud set the tray down again. "Perhaps you should go riding. That may lighten your mood," she suggested.
---
A servant removed Fawn's dusty cloak and took her bag for her. Edmund led her into the next room where a fire was roaring.
---
Emilee sat huddled under the large tree, wishing she could just die then and there.
--

Cedric hit the ground running. Pain shot up his right leg but he continues into his horse. He ran past Katrina the nurse and Gavin and slung himself up into his horse.
---
Gavin jerked and opened his eyes. Pain now coexisted with a sharp stinging and he was more annoyed with Cedric than anything else. He looked up at Katrina "H-hey" He managed to stammer.
---
Cliffton stomped into his room "Who broke my window!?" He demanded.
