*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gavin was devastated. He had no clue where the Great Hall was, but in order to look like he was supposed to be there, he came up with something "Up the stairs, turn left, down the hall, fifth door on the right" It was the best he had at the moment, and he was desperately hoping Katrina would show up and save him from having to answer any more questions he didn't know the answer to.
Jane was slightly confused, but hid it well. "Of course, thank you sir," she said. She left the room and him and began following the instructions. "Up a flight of stairs, left, down the hall–and a stone wall," she stopped, entirely confused as to how she managed to hit a wall.

Gavin layed back down, hoping he hadn't led the stranger to a dead end, spare room, or off a balcony.

Jane decided to retrace her steps back to that man and try again. But not having an overbearing sense of direction, she accidentally took a left when she was supposed to take a right and thus found herself lost and even further from the hall and Gavin.

Emilee covered her ears with her hands to block out the loud rowdy noises below. The room was beginning to fill up with people–loud, smelly dirty people. She sighed irritably and rolled over to face the wall.

(XD I'm so mean. My poor characters)

Gavin sighed disgustedly. He was already tired of his imobility, and it hadn't even been a day. More than that, though, he was tired of the constant, sharp pain.

Cedric remounted his horse and headed toward his cabin in the woods.

Maud began brushing Elaina's hair gently.
--
"Alena? Where are you?" Edwin called out. He stopped and opened every door down the corridor in search of her.

"Jane. Lady Jane, whom the feast is for!" Mariah exclaimed, a little too loudly.
---
"If you don't mind me asking a few questions," Edmund began. "I mean, you are in my house," he chuckled.

Elaina relaxed, quietly thinking. Perhaps her mother would host a feats, or maybe even a ball soon.

Alena sniffed quietly, hoping Edwin wouldn't hear. She could only get him into more trouble.

Audric nodded. "I hadn't noticed her missing."

Peter shrugged. "I'm sure I could answer a few."

"Would you like it up or down?" Maud asked
---
"Alena? I know you're In here," Edwin said. He opened a door. He was about to close it again when he saw Alena. "Hey there," he said quietly, coming over to her.
---
Mariah huffed. "She'll be here."
--
"Just curious, how did you and Linnet meet?" Edmund asked. He rested his chin on his hand.
--
Jane sighed in frustration. She slammed another door shut and proceeded down the hallway. "Hello?" Anyone?" She called desperately
---

Elaina shrugged. "I dont even know why I bother anymore." She said dramatically.

Alena covered her face with her apron. "Oh. Please go away."

Audric shrugged and returned to his meal.

Peter leaned back in the chair. "I believe it was in the field between the castles. Parties from both sides had brought their falcons so hunt."

Maud decided an updo would be best. "Bother with what, may I ask, Princess?"
---
Edwin stooped down. Taking Alena's trembling hands he looked her in the face. "What did I tell you? Just ignore her. She's trying to do exactly this to you," he said quietly.
--
Jane finally heard voices coming from the other side of a thick stone wall. Hands on her hips, she walked the length of the wall trying to figure out where the door was. Somehow she had managed to get herself into this lightless drafty room.
---
Edmund nodded. "Go on," he said. He was rather bored, and conversation helped pass the time

"Bother trying." Elaina snapped impatiently.

Alena shook her head. "She is making me leave." She sniffed.

Edmund shrugged. "We met several times after, and I liked her."

Maud frowned. She kept silent while she finished Elaina's hair.
---
"She still hasn't said that," Edwin argued.
--
Edmund nodded. "That's how that usually works," he chuckled.
--
Jane grasped the door handle finally. Pulling hard she managed to get the door open a couple inches. She could see now that this door did indeed lead to the hall.
