*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Katrina sat down on the edge of the table thing. "How do you feel? Better? Worse?" She asked.
---
Emilee, feeling happier by the second, began skipping. She was excited and looking forward to what the day would bring.
---
"Your highness, may I come in?" Maud asked Gwen.

Linnet fingered the pearl necklace carefully. The maid brushed her hair gently, then worked on getting it into a fancy smancy braid

Fawn walked quietly down the hallway towards Linnet's room. She wasn't particularly fond of Linnet, or Peter, but Edmund had asked her to do this so she felt inclined to.

Edmund, meanwhile, was busy with some letters.

Jane finally mustered up the courage to ask. "Your highness, may I, uh, shall I–"
"Speak up, girl!" Mariah demanded.
Jane blushed. She set her embroidery aside. "May I go for a walk–by myself?" She asked.
Mariah frowned. "I suppose so. But you mustnt go by yourself. Take a guard," she replied.
Jane stood up. "Of course, your highness. I shall be back for tea." She curtsied deeply, then left the room.

Edwin went to go find his brother.

Gwen waited until all evidence of the papers had burned away before answering. "Your may enter."

Peter shrugged on a deep blue jacket. He wasn't fond of it, it limited his ability to use his arms, and he could barely move. But it was for Linnet, so he buttoned it anyway.

Emilee shifted her small sack to her other shoulder, then continued on. The sun was fully up now

Katrina proceeded to carefully remove the bandage. "If I hurt you too much, just say so," she said.

Maud entered, carrying the tray with teacups and little cakes on it. "How are you, this fine morning?" She asked Gwen.
--
As soon as she was out of earshot, Jane skipped down the hall to her room to get her cloak.
---
Linnet handed the string of pearls to the maid, who then carefully clasped it around Linnet's neck. Now time for the dress. Fawn knocked on the door, then entered

Edwin knocked on his brother's door

Gavin nodded and bit his lip.

Katrina removed the bandgage very carefully, then opened the jar of salve. "Still okay?" She asked
---
Emilee shuddered as a chilly breeze rushed past. She pulled her thin shawl tighter around herself then moved to the side of the road.
--
Jane tied her cloak around herself. Leaving her room she headed downstairs.
(Madam, your prince?)
