Fawn walked quietly down the hallway towards Linnet's room. She wasn't particularly fond of Linnet, or Peter, but Edmund had asked her to do this so she felt inclined to.
Edmund, meanwhile, was busy with some letters.

Jane finally mustered up the courage to ask. "Your highness, may I, uh, shall I–"
"Speak up, girl!" Mariah demanded.
Jane blushed. She set her embroidery aside. "May I go for a walk–by myself?" She asked.
Mariah frowned. "I suppose so. But you mustnt go by yourself. Take a guard," she replied.
Jane stood up. "Of course, your highness. I shall be back for tea." She curtsied deeply, then left the room.
Edwin went to go find his brother.
