*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

Gavin slept.
---
"I like gardens even better than hallways!" Adrienne exclaimed happily, spinning in a happy circle.
---
Cliffton shrugged "The woods?" He asked, thinking how mad his mother would be if she found out. He smiled at that thought.
---
Cedric gnawed on some beef jerky as he rode quietly along.
Edwin chuckled. "Indeed. So yes, these, obviously, are the gardens," he explained.
---
Jane detected a hint of something other than just excitement for the woods. "Of course. Way out in the woods. Where it's nice and quiet, away from particular queens," she said, winking.
---
Emilee cantered her horse. Gathering up the courage, she headed into the road. At least if he came after her again, she'd have the horse and a straight path ahead.
---
Katrina hurried from room to room as the head laundress ordered her about.

"I love you," Linnet said, smiling up at him.
--
Fawn rolled her eyes. She was in no mood to talk to anybody, especially Redd. "And you don't seem like the type to sit and enjoy the smells of a stable," she replied curtly. She mounted her horse, then turned to face Redd. "Why are you here?" she asked. Hopefully he hadn't been here long, and hopefully he wasn't aware that Peter and Linnet were here as well.
---
Mariah stood before him, grinning smartly. "I think it's high time plans were underway for our son's marriage," she said.

Peter laughed and kept walking. "I do too...but I'm worried."

Read shrugged. "I was just wondering how I'm ever going to keep the wedding a secret."

. "I thought you didnt like the princess." Audric said with a smirk.

(I thought they were sitting :idunno)

"You are never going to fully enjoy this day if you keep thinking about the prince," Linnwt replied.
---
Fawn glared at him for long moment, unsure of what to say. He knew. Plain as day, he knew. And as of now, it seemed like her fault. "How—why—what are you talking about?" She finally said.
---
"I don't! But this treaty has dragged out long enough! Plus I love weddings, so yeah," Mariah replied, a big grin on her face.

"I'm sorry Linnet. I'm just worried about what will happen to you when they find out." Peter smiled sadly.

"You tell me." Redd said with a shrug.

Audric contemplated this for a moment. "I'll send word to Alnwick."

Linnet sighed. "Ah. That's why you've been so tied up with this," she replied. She was pleased that he was concerned for her, but worrying wouldn't help anything. "They can't do anything to us. At least not anything very bad. Gwen, even if she is furious over this, isn't going to jail me," Linnet said.
---
"You. Did you follow me here?" Fawn asked. "You sly sneaky—oh of all—" she glared at him.
---
Mariah waited patiently for Audric to speak. When he finally did, she smiled softly. "That is perfect," she said. "Meanwhile, I shall began plans for wedding ceremony!" She exclaimed happily.

"You don't know what the queen is capable of!" Peter agued.

"I didnt follow you...i tracked you." Redd said with a smirk.

Audric smiled at his wife. "I'm glad you're happy."

Linnet stopped mid stride and turned to face Peter. "Peter, when we agreed to do this, I thought we were agreeing we were ready to take on what ever the queen threw at us. But we'd do it together. And so far, the queen hasn't thrown anything at us, and you are fretting all about on your own! Please, I beg you, just enjoy this one day with me, that's all I ask of you," she said, dabbing at her eyes with a handkerchief.
----
Fawn, boiling with anger inside, thought hard and quickly of what to say. "And I was just beginning to trust you," she said, frowning.
---
"Oh! And another thing!" MAriah said

Peter started to ague again but saw the tears and wrapped his arms around her instead. "Have I told you how good your hair smells?" He joked.

Redd laughed. "You were not."

Audric froze. "Yes?"

Liner held back a sob. She returned the embrace, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Thanks," she murmured, chuckling.
---
"And now you tell me how I'm feeling!" Fawn retorted, exasperated. She was very mad at him, and worried he'd expose Peter and Linnet. She turned her horse and began trotting away, wondering and hoping he'd simply drop the subject completely. But of course he wouldn't. He's an enemy, simply doing his job.
----
"I think it high time we marry Peter off to some duchess or something," Mariah said. She had Audric's attention for a few minutes, she might as well tell him everything that she had been thinking. "And,"
