*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

"You too." Peter said as he mounted. He quickly turned his horse and started the fasted way to Edinburgh.
Linnet watched him leave, a lone figure in the dreary rain. When she could see him no longer, she began the short trek back to the castle.

Maud went to Linnet's room to clean up and build the fire. She figured Linnet would be returning soon, and a warm fire and some tea would be perfect.
~~~
The servant wandered around the castle in search of Peter and Jane, neither of whom were present.
Peter hurriedly rode up to the stables, and handed his reins to a young stable boy. Normally he would groom her himself, but he didn't want to be gone longer.
Linnet arrived at the castle, drenched and not in the best of spirits.
She entered through the back door and headed for her room via a back staircase.
Edwin chuckled. "I should think so, Shakespeare. You only skinned your knee, not like you broke your neck."
Jane shot him a disapproving look, then went to see how Clyde's foot was.
Clyde rolled his eyes as he looked at his knee through his torn pants. He was already plotting a way to sneakily keep his mother from finding out he'd practically destroyed his best riding outfit.
Peter frowned.why was this so difficult? "I dont know what to do anymore." Peter sat back on the grass.
Kat kicked at a rock. He was so difficult.
"What was that?" Audric asked.
Gwen smiled. "Hello Adrienne. What are you doing here?"
"I just want to see how you're doing" Adrienne smilingly sat down in a chair "We haven't really talked lately. Is there anything you'd like to talk about?"
"Perhaps the seamstress can patch up the tear," Jane said. "On your pants," she added quickly before Edwin could say anything.
"Clyde's foot looks rather nasty," Edwin pointed out from atop his horse.
Cliffton looked down at Clyde "oh sure, you're not worried about me. It's all about the horse" He cut his eyes sideways at his brother "I'll have the stable hand check him out when we get back" and just cause things could get a little worse, a single drop of rain fell on Clyde's ear.
Edwin scowled as a raindrop went splat on his nose (as in fell :lol:)
Jane, ever the optimist, smiled up at the sky. "The gardens sure have needed it. Anyway, we should return to the castle to get your leg and Clyde's fixed up," she said cheerfully.
"Or before he bleeds to death," Edwin added. "Clyde, that is."
Edmund asked around for Peter, but because no one seemed to know where he was, he decided to go back outside. Maybe Peter was in the garden. Ducking under a gazebo (or whatever they were called back then), he scanned the rainy garden for the duke.
Lariah could not identify this person clearly. She decided to keep quiet, she didn't need to bring attention to herself. If he noticed her, then let it be. There was no need to say something if someone wasn't even looking for her.
Edmund leaned against the rail of the gazebo to relax. Instead he found himself on the muddy ground with sharp broken wood under him after a loud cracking noise. "Ow," he muttered after a string of curses as large raindrops fell on his face.
Lariah couldn't contain her snort as the man sat on part of the gazebo and fell. She covered her mouth and leaned back, only to rustle large roe leaves and cause a fat drip of water splash on her head and dress.
