*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

(I didn't know the character page was also a list of ranks. This character would not fit into any of these. Too large, loud and brutish for an assassin, and she has no aliegence to any Liege as of the start, since she hasn't met anyone, therefore cannot be a knight. She would never submit to being a servant, handmaiden, or any of the other ranks. I'm not sure if I can do this Lsky)
(just adjust her form a little bit :p )

(Mariah finds Peter?)

Peter nodded. "I believe this is where we depart?"
(I was referring to Audric, when I said Mariah smiled at him :p )

Mariah nearly dragged Audric along as she went over to Peter and Jane. "Oh, Jane. I quite forgot to appoint an escort for you. Sir Peter, if you would be so kind," she smiled slyly.

Backing into a corner of the room, Fawn adjusted her very uncomfortable mask. Satisfied that it was slightly more comfortable than before, she proceeded around the room in search of a good conversation to eavesdrop on.
-------
Edwin returned with a bowl of water and the requested rags. After setting them down, he looked at Katrina. "Anything else?" He asked.
Katrina dipped a rag into the bowl and dabbed Alena's forehead with it. "Please, have a maid bring up a tray of tea."
"Tea? How is that going to help?" Edwin frowned.
"It'll help you calm down," she replied. Having the prince in the room distracted her, so she was very glad when he reluctantly left.

(villager? Theif? Your character could still be washed ashore foreigner)

( does warrior count? I don't know, the whole reason I made a foreigner is so I don't have to read the whole thing. I've read the first 10 pages and the last 10, but I don't want to read 200 pages to get started. She isn't sneaky, I went with another historical group from nearby England who regularly plundered the people along the coast. There would likely be a lot of mistrust and tension if a barbarian showed up at court of the plundering warrior type. Would she be outright killed? Or given a chance to start over, being female and alone?)

Name: Herja
Age: 27
Gender: female
Personality: boisterous, commanding presence, ruthless in battle, extremely loyal to those she aligns with.
Skills: sailing, basic survival skills, sword and board, prefers a halberd.
Side: hasn't picked one yet
Rank: warrior
History: participated in Viking raids of shoreline kingdoms with her husband, but a storm off the coast has wrecked their dragon boat. She washed ashore alone, and is heading inland. She speaks some English.
Description: very tall, muscular, not thin, blonde, blue eyed, wears a breastplate, arm guards, and shinguards. Keeps her hair braided and piled up out of the way, but it falls like silken gold when she lets it down. Lost her helmet during the swim ashore, but managed to keep her halberd. Has several prominent scars due to various battles and raids.

Herja opened her eyes. She was alive! At least, she thought she was. " This doesn't feel like the land of the dead..." she muttered. She sat up, looking around. The last thing she remembered was being washed overboard, the waves smashing their longboat to pieces on the rocks near the coast. Squinting, she spotted its remains scattered by the waves along the beach, including the piece she was clinging to. She looked at her hands; she was gripping her halberd with a vice that only death might loosen. Her other hand had been holding onto the piece of boat. She began to get onto her wobbly legs, weakened from the wreck and subsequent swim, and started to pick through the mess along the shoreline.

Elsabrushed her hair and decided to go to sleep, she laid down in bed and petted willow.
