Hearing a cry in the distance, a humanish voice, she realized someone might be in trouble. Now she was really awake! She sprinted towards the sound, holding her halberd behind her over her shoulder across her back so that it was mostly out of the way. Crashing through the underbrush, she caught sight of a river.

Herja , squinting in the twilight, sees a young man clinging desperately to a slimy moss covered rock. Shouting with surprise, she comes to the river bank, and extends the handle end of the halberd to the young man.

Gwen smiled brightly. "You may."

Alena blinked rapidly at the room swirling before her. "Edw-" A wave of nausea swept over her.
Redd took the princess's hand in his and led her to the thick of the dancing couples. He twirled her once, then bowed. He felt so pleased, having, hopefully, completed his first task in months. He felt sure that Queen Mariah would be pleased and would pay what she had offered him, plus more.

Jane looked Peter in the eye as they danced. She felt like she was on a cloud as they danced, yet his lagging feet seemed to drag her down. Dancing was probably not on his list of priorities.

Edmund with Mariah, in the center of the room as the owner of the castle should be, waltzed perfectly with the music. Mariah was rather surprised with how well he kept time.

Fawn tapped her foot in time to the slowing music as she neared the entrance. She was indecisive if she wanted to put herself out in order to find a partner. Nearing the herald, she turned on her heel and walked towards the tables.

Linnet kept a smile on her face as she danced with Richard, but inwardly she was groaning. She wanted to be free of this man and go find Peter, but it would be inconsiderate to quit now. As the danced slowed to a halt, Richard bowed and escorted her to the edge of the room in a perfectly gentleman like manner.
A thought suddenly occurred to Katrina. 'The prince seems strangely concerned with that maid,' she thought. Sure, Alena was nice. Pretty, maybe. But she was a maid. And even though she had been found unconscious in the prince's room, which was extremely strange in itself, the prince seemed overly concerned with her current well being. Katrina thanked the cook and proceeded back to the prince's quarters, a tray with tea in hand. Then there was the boy. Tom hadn't seen him, and Tom always knew where everyone was. A second surprising thought now occurred. Had Alfric done it?

. "Here, drink some water," Edwin offered, holding the glass up to Alena. There were so many questions on his mind he wanted to ask, but not yet. Not until Alena gained her strength back.

A smile spread across her face when Emilee spotted the pony. She sped up her step in order to reach the pony as Daisy lumbered on. Daisy sensed someone behind her, but didn't care at the moment. The figure on the rock suggested a boy, perhaps the nice one who had given her feed a few times recently. As she neared Alfric, Daisy sniffed and put her lip out.
Emilee broke into a jog. She slowed down as a lone figure in the water came into view.

Azor slowly rode his horse through the dark forest with his partner close on his rear. He look out into the dark forest as he heard shouts and screams from an unknown scource. "C'mon" he said to his partner " let's go see what that was"
