*The Verge of War* A Medieval Rp

(You headed to a castle, and your character is an Alnwick, so I assumed it was Alnwick castle. You said that time had past, but we were also far from Alnwick, a few hours away, but the ball is still going, and the horses have yet to properly meet each other, so in that sense it couldn't have been more than a few minutes which had passed. Maybe if you change it to a nearby town or house then it would be okay, or a small fortress. Then we can wait for the others to continue :))

( I didn't know how far out we were )

India tossed her wild mane and blew a puff of hot air from her nostrils as the small pony approached from the shadows. She followed her with cautious eyes, as black as ink and as curious as a child.
Daisy walked up to the big horse without a fear in he world.
Emilee saw the two just then and stopped, mouth agape from shock and awe at the giant of a horse. Daisy was no more than fourteen hands tall, but India's height and width made her appear even smaller. "Hi," Emilee said dumbly. She was slightly terrified to be near such a large animal, who obviously belonged to someone very wealthy and powerful. Daisy nickered her greetings again to India

Herja wasn't sure where to go, being a stranger in a strange land. She did know that she was hungry, and that there was possibly large game nearby. She took a long draught at the spring, then filled a battered water skin tied to her waist. Starting off, she used her halberd as a walking stick, keeping the blade pointed up. She grabbed another large handful of berries from the random berry bushes, but not knowing exactly what they were, she didn't want to risk herself, although sweet berries aren't usually poisonous. Herja picked her way through the forest, since she now knew it was habituated, she realised that she would have to stick to game trails and backwoods. Should she head to where she heard large beasts crashing through the braken in the woods?

Alfric opened his eyes for a moment and then fell back into sleep when he was unable to keep his eyelids apart. He was dry, wrapped in warm sheets, but he still shivered, and a damp sheen of sweat coated is sore face.

India approached the small pony slowly, bowing her head to sniff at it. She snickered softly back and twitched her ears.

Cedric observed the guests, and finally settled on a likely target. While he couldn't properly identify anyone, he thought this candidate looked particularly promising. He approached Thomas "Enjoying the party?" he asked amcably

Gavin made his way up a steep incline as a single snowflake drifted down to Earth, landing softly on a leaf.
