"That depends on if my fair partner would wish to reveal herself," Redd replied. He knew she wouldn't wish to, of course, for the sake of her personal privacy and safety, and he didn't intend on telling her who he was.Gwen blushed shyly. "Am I allowed to know who I am accompanying in the first dance?"
Peter tried his best, and only managed to step on Jane's toes a time or two. He spun her quickly around as the first dance ended. Breathing heavily, he offered her his arm. "Would you care for a drink?" He asked politely.
Alena took the glass and drank deeply. "The ball?" She wheezed after a few long moments.
(Knew you wouldI like this one alot. Accepted)
"That depends on if my fair partner would wish to reveal herself," Redd replied. He knew she wouldn't wish to, of course, for the sake of her personal privacy and safety, and he didn't intend on telling her who he was.
Jane, blushing slightly, nodded her agreement. "That would be most delightful," she replied with a smile.
Richard looked up at the man beside him. "Ah, good evening," he said with a stiff smile. "How fare you and your lovely partner this fine evening?" He asked, attempting to be polite as possible. Linnet froze, a step behind Richard. Her eye met Peter's, causing her to redden beneath her feathery satin mask.
Mariah thanked Edmund and gave him a stiff now before returning to where her husband sat. She set her hand lightly in her lap and looked about the room for her sons, neither of whom she could see.
Edmund stepped in front of Fawn to prevent her from returning to the security of the corner. "I mustn't allow you to hide all evening in the shadows," he said with an elegant bow. "May I have the pleasure of the next dance?" He asked. Fawn tried to think of a reason to refuse him but nothing came to mind. "Yes, thank you," she replied with a thin smile. They recognized each other despite the masks, for Fawn had arrived early to help with final touches to the hall.
William entered the room, fashionably late, and headed for where the king and queen of Edinburgh sat before the herald could announce him. His own king and queen were not able to come tonight, but he figured respects were due on their behalf to Edinburgh.

"What about it?" Edwin frowned.
Katrina returned to the room but stopped outside the door. She heard voices, presumably the prince and Alena.
(Knew you would)
Daisy reappeared, this time from behind India. The aisle was small and Emilee didn't wish to be squished between untrimmed trees and this beast of a horse, so she waited from where she stood in hopes that Daisy would come around.India hungrily chomped on the juicy fruit and then nudged Emilee again, but this time she wasn't looking for an apple. Turning her head, she looked out across the orchard, something was stirring in the darkness. It didn't smell like the pony she had met, sweet little thing that it was. No, this was a rough, bitter scent, and it was getting closer. Her body tensed as a branch snapped not more than a few metres from her.
Redd raised an eyebrow. "No, not really. But by your description of yourself, one would assume a stuck up young woman from a nearby kingdom," he said calmly, trying to play ignorant with her.Gwen raised an eyebrow questioningly. "You mean you can't tell by my flaming hair and my emerald dress?!" She gasped jokingly.
Peter walked her over to a nearby table, and left to retrieve some champagne.
Alena attempted to sit up all the way. "Are you not supposed to be there now?"
