I hatched some beautiful eggs from Brian Walden. Now the high anxiety time. Girls or boys. I have one that has a long eyeliner that goes all the way back to her neck...I know she is a girl. I have two, one is pictured here that has a very small eyeliner but does have a distinct V on top of it's head. Could the shory eyeliner still be girls? Also does the V look like a girl, I heard the boys have muddled markings in their heads? I appreciate any help! They are just a few weeks old 2-3.

With partridge colouring female chicks will hav chipmunk markings.

In welsummer a its actually that males have lighter markings where as females have more defined and darker markings

I would also judge by comb, the Roos comb should get bigger quicker
