Thank you! I was so surprised I got one so soon! I just got her 2 weeks ago from someone else's flock and she surprised me and laid already! All my other hens took months to adjust!

I am really happy with my Wellie eggs! Terra Cotta, dark speckles, and getting bigger. Still, not the size of the Golden Comets or White Leghorns, but that's ok! Adding variety to the egg basket in the morning!
I have three Wellie hens and one Roo.

I was supposed to have three wellie pullets, but one got injured, split her pelvis flying out of the run, I cliped all their wings but still had a few getting out of the four foot fence. Now I have chicken wire on top. Another wellie pullet was ate by a predator. Down to one, and she took forever to lay. Now I'm getting a egg almost every day, she's beating the brown leghorns and easter eggers! Her egg color and spots are getting better also. I do have a wellie cockerel so soon I'll try hatching some more.

The three eggs on the bottom right are hers, the one all the way to the right was super dark.
