The Welsummer Thread!!!!

Haven't set foot outside lately but was cold this am when I took the dogs out (6:30 am), DD went out to check chickens and for eggs, came in with 3 white eggs, chicks are doing great!

Doing paperwork today as it the end of the month invoice time

Robin - I will also send you some eggs once my girls start laying again - they are on break right now. They will be from the same hens that I sent eggs over to HOLLAND for evaluation! They are very dark!

Ill let you know when they start laying again, got a Coronation Pullet sussex egg last week, but nothing since!

But no wellie eggs. :-( In due time - even tho the breeder stock seems to take a full 6-8 months to lay, usually closer to the 8 month mark!

I'm willing to be patient LOL! I am guessing to collect sample eggs until the end of this year. Please no fertile eggs, just duds.
