Marcel - do the feather colors change with old age - this hen is 4 years old - and I never noticed this gold border on her feathers before this year. Could be I just wasn't looking close enough, or it may have just been the lighting - I didn't really see it until I was looking at the pictures

Some of them will lose some of the characteristic warm reddish partridge on back and wing bow. They become more normal partridge.
And you see often that the black peppering/stippling clumps.

from those pictures I think pullet 1, 2 and 4 are pullets 3 I'm not sure 5 and 6 look like cockerels

Thanks! Sold 3, 5, 6 today - didn't want that many Wellies! I was up front with the buyers and they didn't seem to care. If I could eat what I grew I would have kept them but not there yet.
