I am hoping to get some Welsummer chicks this winter or spring. I am really coveting those speckled eggs. I heard they have a nice temperment, too.

Anyone know of anyone in Arizona who breeds them?

I am in Tucson, too--up near Magee and Oracle! I'd like to get breeder quality. Maybe we can join in on an order to save on shipping. I have a friend who wants to order some Delawares. There is one farm I came across that has both Delawares and Welsummers. Are you a member on Facebook's group Tucson CLUCKS? that's a fun place to meet people, too.

nice ..mine look just like that ..i have some that have heavy speckles and some like this one ..congrats ..it will taste as good as it looks ..lol
