What lines are these???

I think they both look good. Comb of the easiest thing to fix. So I always go for body, legs, and color. Combs last. Others may not agree with that, but it worked well for me. There are lots of nicebirds out there from my flock.

More pics would help.

Pink had nice birds.

I need more welsummers, but waiting until next year. I have laced brahamas now. Plus adding some imported birds next year, its a secret until I get them...

When I get more welsummers I needs some MOOSE offspring... (big grins)

Hi Beesong!

I like them both and Nate is right, the comb is one of easier fixes.....test mate both of them if you can.

The combs are getting better as I go along with Odin, Odin himself only has 2 points, so extra little point is not really a huge problem, I think the biggest plus is actually getting more points than Odin has... I believe you can work with both of these boys. "A" definitely has better hackle color, but I think that you will be pleasantly surprized by "B"...give him some time and I bet he starts to catch up to his brother. Both being from Odin will have good size. "B" has a nice comb. What are those girls looking like???

Thanks for posting them for us to see.

That is GREAT news, Pink! I'll post some full-length pix in a minute so you and Nate can see if there is anything there I should know about between the two. "A" is much larger than "B," which I like a lot, but that tiny extra-looking comb point was throwing me off. Glad it's not a big deal. I'll get some pullet pix, too.

they are both young, wait and see how they fill out before you go culling one out or keep both. I like the comb on B but they do have some nice sized combs on them, not overly "fleshy" like a huge Andalusian type comb or Leghorn type comb. I like smaller combs on roos than BIG ones.
