The "What Color Is My Chicken?" thread! Calling all color experts!

Pics
I have two chickens - mixed breeds that if anyone knows what the color or genetic make-up is called, I'd love to know!

The first guy is a cockerel who I believe is from a white Easter Egger hen; rooster could have been a EE roo or a Blue Andalusian/EE roo - both were with the hens during that time.
He looks like he's just "a dirty white", but his hackle and tail feathers are an interesting gray/brown. He's a capon, so there's no way to breed him and see what his offspring are going to be, but it's a color I've never seen before.

The second one is a chick that hatched just a few days ago. I know the rooster was the Blue Andalusian/EE mix, but I'm not sure about the hen - I'm thinking it was the Blue Andalusian/Red Star, but it could have been just an EE. It's under color is gold/yellow, but the stripe down its back and on its wings is what's puzzling me. It looks like the yellow is over-coated with blue/gray. It has a light green hue to it in certain light. The camera didn't capture it well.

I can't wait to see how this little chick feathers out!

Hi there MyFiveGirls!

I'm thinking his color looks like the kind of "Colombian" variant found in Coronation Sussex.

Here's a link to someone's page with images.

The chick? No guesses... (okay maybe one - it's gonna be some kind of blue something)

Any ideas about this chick? It's tiny wing feathers are coming in - they look lavender/light gray/blue - it's hard to describe. Does anyone know how the blue genetics work when mixed with wild-type or duckwing genetics? It looks like this chick is a "chipmunk", but with yellow and gray instead of brown and black.

Howdy!
this is my bantam mix. He was a surprise because we had a bantam broody on some EE eggs and she laid one of her own during that times so here he is!

here he is 4 months or so.

any idea on color?
