"Okay! We're coming!" Wren shouted to let the bat know. "Calm down, Branch, she's not going to eat us," she whispered to him before continuing. She watched the winged creature as it kept sliding. "Just watch out for those giant holes!" she called as she picked up the pace. She hoped the bat wouldn't slide right into their fishing holes.
"Hello." Said Crescent nervously. "Funny thing about me, I was poked all over when I was a babybat, and now I go temporarily paralyzed sometimes, and I need to be shocked into moving or I'll get frozen forever. So in a couple of minutes could you throw me into the air? The shock of falling should wake me up. Sorry to be a bother."
Branch stopped growling but still watched her cautiously. "Then won't you fall into the icy water?" He grumbled as he got over to her.

"Its okay" Vero said. "Just give me a warning next time".
"It's not a bother," Wren said as she finally got to the bat. She tried to ignore Branch, knowing that he was obviously grumpy. "Are you ready?" she asked her.
“Sure thing. I gotta be getting home now. Thanks for letting me sleep a bit!”
Dawn finished cleaning her fur and jumped out of her hollow delicately. She landed on the ground beneath her tree she slept in and started to follow the other Pine Marten's scent.
Kiko at the time was traveling home and unwittingly passing through Dawn’s territory.
