"You did it!" Wren watched her.
"No, y'all did!" Crescent blinked gratefuly at the bears. "I can't thank you enough. Sorry to interrupt your fishing and stuff. I'm Crescent, by the way." She moved her ears around some more. It was what she did when she was nervous.

Branch watched, a slight smile on his face. "You're welcome." He said kindly. "I'm Branch and this is Wren. We've been friends all of our life." He looked over at Wren happily.

Crescent just realized what that glance meant. "Oh, that's nice. I've lived at a place where strange pink creatures jab you with spikes until they realize that they're just giving you health problems." She smiled happily. "But now I'm here. Anyway, sorry to interrupt, and thank you!" She took flight again, enjoying her wings to her full potential this time. She swerved and streaked, heading for the tree that she had nested in previously.
 
"But I just got seriously injured!!" Terrence complained. He flailed his long neck around.
Kiko heard Terrance’s shout and silently slipped over to see what was going on.
She rolled her eyes again. "And I could make you even mo-" She paused when she noticed Kiko. She locked eyes with him. It was really what she thought it was. A male Pine Marten.
