Glad to see some more of yall joinin us! Sorry to hear, at the same time

Didn't mean to abandon the hatch! Got busy with farm stuff, trucks that went to heck and chasin parts for those, flat tires, workin on the bator, gettin cows situated for the impending snow, etc...
But, after some plexiglass, liquid nails, some lumber and hardware cloth... the bator is DONE!
Still gonna hafta modify my hatching tray, it needs to be notched for the turner... and eventually get better egg holders, but I'm happy w how its turned out so far! It was a box with everything already in it, just needed rewiring and some cleaning. Now, its still not the prettiest thing, but its workin!!
Temps aren't stable, but it was either throw the eggs in and pray or toss em... and with 1 egg from my Delaware, I said screw it and threw em in, since my other bators are full....
This is somewhere abouts 7 dozen eggs, mostly F1 Olive Eggers and Polish. A couple from my Speckled Sussex trio, a few from my SLW pair, andsome oddball barnyard mixes (DH said hatch the mixes, we've got more then enough eating eggs
) Heres hoping I get a few chicks outta the batch!!!
Scuse the mess... too cold out to put stuff out in the carport right now!!!
^^^ Fatty the cat just HAD to see what Ma was fussin about
Here's the trays, just 1x2 and hardware cloth. The hatching tray that goes on the bottom is 1x4, but too tall, think I'll hafta notch it down on the back end some
Guess I'll let temps figure out and stabalize overnight, and deal with em in the morning.
