Awwww, Speckled! Kess is a cutie too! I love sleepy dog looks. She's so sweet!
I totally understand about expense. As I am husband-free and kid-free, I've chosen to have pets. It is a challenge financially sometimes, but totally worth it in my world. It's so nice to come home to happiness, joy and chaos.
I have a cousin who is single also, but she doesn't like animals. I've always thought it a lonely life she leads. She comes home to a quiet, empty house. Granted, it's a clean house. Mine is never clean. But I like the chaos and general goofiness that the critters add.
