Violet and Vennia padded over to a small brook.
"You drink first," Violet said, sniffing at the water.

Vennia stuck her paw in the water. Nothing happened. She held her paw over a small flower in the grass and a single drop of water fell onto the blossum. The second the water touched it the flower withered and died.
"No thanks," Vennia said, looking at the lifeless bloom.
