The Wyandotte Thread

It is pretty tough to find adult birds in the winter..most breeders cull down to their main breeding birds for winter. You would probably have better luck purchasing chicks in the spring.

Hi. Can anyone point me in the right direction to purchase about 25 good quality Blue Wyandotte chicks in the spring? They are for my enjoyment only. And I do not hatch eggs. I need day old chicks. Thanks in advance.

you will want one or everything

I have the same problem! I want GLWs now! Does anyone know where to get good ones? I read about a guy named Rick Hare... I think that was his name... anyhow he was the only person that has quality GLWs. Is this true?
I can't believe how easy it was to get good BLRW. But now that I want good GLWs I can't find any!

It is hard to find good quality golden laced if that is what you are looking for. I wasn't aware that Rick hare had them. His silver laced and whites are as good as they come so if he has glw they too are probably good.
Jerry, do you have golden laced?

We are getting a pair this weekend from Colby.....we picked them up for her from Duane Urch this past fall. We won't have any chicks this spring because we need to build our flock, but should have some started birds in the fall. these are the only pictures i have of them.
