My first time young broody BLRW hatched 3 chicks and then left the nest. I did not catch it in time, or I could have thrown the other eggs in the incubator. Oh well, 3 new chicks!

Hi you folks love wyandottes almost as much as me.I live in Florida and am breeding heat tolerance into my own strain of silver laced wyandotte.I used a aracauna rooster and Maggie my favorite hen the rooster came out silver laced and the hen came out black.the hen is a superb layer. This coming spring I'll be breeding the rooster to a different silver laced wyandotte hopefully getting the perfect heat tolerance and beautiful lacing. Crossing my fingers. Ha ha ha
