yeah, knowing my luck I got all roos! I do know that at least 3 of the 8 are roos. If I end up with 3 or 4 hens I'll be happy.

That'll make Nathan happy! I don't know what the other chicks are... I think Urch might have tried to give me all wyandottes. Does lemon yellow with blue/grey backs sound familiar? One has faint chipmunk stripes. It'll be interesting growing them out. Whatever they are, they'll be nice quality.​

On a crazier note...does anyone raise these in the USA? Brown Porcelain or Mille Fleur Wyandottes? Just curious

I never seen one but I bet the Mille Fleur would look gorgeous on a Wyandotte.

ive got some silver laced wyandotte chicks

little girls I got five but i got them from a hatchery though .. Ill have to take their picture

Just a for fun post.

My poor gang has been panting alot since it started getting hotter. Summer is coming early this year.

Here are 3 of the girls begging for treats or is it for ice to cool off the nest boxes?

Yep, the gang runs from one shady area to another now, rarely see them out in the open part of the yard in the afternoons.

Lester has gotten so handsome for a hatchery boy. The girls literally fight to sleep next to him.

Normally it does not get so hot til May. I hope this does not mean the eggs will already be roasted before I can get them from the nest boxes. (We get the aweful triple digit summers down here.)

Miss Spring already.

Anyway, any one else have some just for fun pics of their Wyandottes?
