The Wyandotte Thread

Even better (or worse) than watching my son chase after me was watching Turbo beat me with a Partridge pullet...Maybe he'll have a pic of her, too.

It was a fun show, but I only really went on Saturday and it was so big with so many old acquaintances to catch up with that I didn't even get to look at birds...That kind of stunk.

I wasnt going to mention that part, Rudy. We did get lucky enough to have Champ AOV on a Partridge Wyandotte Pullet and Rudy got Reserve Champ AOV on a Partridge..I am sure that the judge was blind in one eye and squinting really hard with the other eye.

That BLRW cockerel is about 8 months old and he is what the German Breeders call Pigeon Blue...its the color of blue that I shoot for.

Our newest addition from the Foley's while at Crossroads. A Black Wyandotte Bantam cockerel. Jacob has named it.....Jerry!

Hello from tennessee! Ive always loved Wyandottes because of their aweet nature, beautiful feathering, and how "poofy" they are. I just recieved a trio of BLRWs. And love them. Althoug Im told they are to light and the babies wont be BLRWs.

Sand Hill Preservation has bantam chocolate Wyandottes.

Are Sandhill's Chocolates or Dun? Several call theirs chocolate, but are really a Dun. The dun looks chocolate but produces khaki and black like the blue produces splash and black.
