44 Wyandotte eggs are in the 'bator! Very excited! I've got 21 Foley SLW's from three of their lines, as well as 23 GLW from a local breeder. Not too sure about type on the GLW but with 23 I'm hoping for a decent enough male to cross onto the Foley birds to start producing some good GLW. Hatch days are Tuesday the 25 and Saturday the 29! Can't wait!

My girl lays one like the right. Its a light brown almost a pink color.

Hmm. I can't seem to catch who is laying. The three in question have all been in the next box. *sigh* maybe I can figure it out one day.

I just picked up 7 slw hens and 1 roo. I'll post some pics later... The roo got out as we were trying to get the in the coop for the night and I would like to say my god can they run! It took me my wife and a call to my younger brother to get him back into the coop. For get going to the gym just let a roo out and try catching it!!! Anyone else ever have to do this? Any tips if it happens again? We do have some big birds of prey in our area so leaving it out to come back later is out of the question.

I use two sticks, and kinda "corral" them a bit. Using the sticks to guide them where I need them to be.

Haha! Try havering to catch a little game hen that can fly farther than a quail!! Also living right next to the woods!!!
