Hello Everyone!!!
I'm so glad I found this forum!!!! I love Wyandottes!!! Currently I have 6 SL and 3 BLRW roosters. A few weeks ago I received my BLRW chicks.......and I'm thrilled with them!!! They're from Sterling Center Farm. These pics were taken yesterday....they are 4 weeks.

Good Morning!!!
Thank you, flower!!! I'm not the greatest photographer......but I definitely have tons of patience. I like to get at least a few decent pics of them as they grow so I can document their development. Here are a few pics of them when they were 6 days old.

Gab I understand what your mean, I have one splash roo that I just love! He isnt quite to standard but he is so mild tempered and good to his ladies I couldnt ask for more! I have a nicer quality BLR roo in the same pen to try and add better type but I just love my Splash boy!

Josh44, I think those two BLR bantams look pretty good myself. The males color is really good, shafting is not too bad on his feathers. His tail could be a little higher but it could just be the picture. The female has good type and good comb/head. Good lacing but the ground color could be a little deeper. But all in all, I think they are as good as any or all BLR bantams out there. I would take em and love to have em if that tells you anything. I do like their blue color.

Thanks, My hen is starting to loose some feathers, she doesn't look as good as she use to.
I think she is starting to molt. I have some eggs due to hatch this week and next.
