I am really torn with culling or keeping this boy... At first glance I said cull because of color but now I'm second guessing myself because I really like his type and build... So I figured I'd ask everyone on here since they have no attachment to him or anything. I may just be grasping at straws because the fox took all but 5 of my 2012 hatch. Thoughts?

While this cockerel is not as typey as your Oppenheimer, he is a nice looking bird. Since he still has some growing to do, I would keep him in reserve for a while longer. Another 6 months will show big improvements.

thats the APA the marans was a breed and varety before 2011 not buy APA standards untill 2011 come on guys there are hundreds of different breeds and varetys of chickens in the us that are not called projects by breeders Their are many breeds that are not accepted by the apa but are breeds in other countries lets get real

To early to make a decision on this guy. Give him at least a full molt and re look at him in late fall he has too much going for him to make a decision.

Does my Clover look like a bantam Partridge Wyandotte?

What throws me off is the single comb...I don't know much about Wyandotte bantams so I dunno
