I think my violet laced (blue laced) silver is laying. going to put her with a silver laced roo. she seems way too young but she is the only one in that pen with a red comb that could lay brown. excited to see if I can get some blue chicks.

I posted one awhile back. I have tried her in 3 pens. I think she will be fine in the pen she is in now but she has become and escape artist. she is really way too young to be laying. I will find out for sure soon. she was with some silkies and MFL and the egg was brown so she was they only one that SHOULD lay a brown eggs.

I will switch modes and try to repost it. oh yeah....she is in a pen with a splash laced red wyandotte pullet and they are covered by a proven slw roo. fingers crossed for more!!!!

thanks! I didn't make her she is the first cross with a slw and splash LRW so she needs to go back to a SLW clean her offspring up .... the red is bleeding some but not much. my SPW have more red leaking than she does hehe.

oh another thing....I am going to set some SPW bantams eggs from this new roo and see what I get. I still need to get some pics of the SPW pullets I have to get some guidance.
