The Wyandotte Thread

There is another thread on here called can a wyandotte have a straight comb. They say one or 2 breeders have a straight comb in their flock as it increases fertility. I just thought I would throw it in there......

DMrippy... So do I or should I keep a straight comb in there if I hatch one?

X5 NO! I do not and will not breed single combs in my dottes!

I don't see a fertility issue in my BLRW..... never have had an issue in them.

MY SLW are another story. They are about on the last leg with me too. If I can't fix the issue with these new SLW I have I may give up. I have had them for about 2+ years and still have not been able to sell eggs or chicks.

Okay so don't breed single comb!!! Lol ... Well hopefully I have a good start all of mine have rose combs. Let's hope for the best...
I wish I had them separated NOW!! So I could get started and see what I'm going to get.
On a better note I put 42 eggs if my blrw in the bator that I had collected over the ARCTIC BLAST... And 37 swimmers... They were busy busy in the barn over the blizzard. I shall have a baby boom of 2014 here. Lol. They are for sale if anybody needs any, hint hint ;)
