Yep, don't get me wrong if I had a reason to I would remove spurs, but as yet no reason to. I have a dozen roos and the one with the longest spurs happens to be a hen.

I have seen spurs on leghorn hens but this one is glw.

Can't see them in these pics, will endeavour to get some of her feet.

That's good to know. I haven't had any reason to remove spurs. Mine free range and I feel that by removing them I would be leaving my roo defenceless .

They grow back. It just takes time to get too long again. Good for a year or so then do it again. Some will curl and grow into their own leg. Others are just a danger when handling.
