OK, I'd like to take my BLRW roo to a show....I have NEVER shown a bird...can I get y'all's opinions before I jump in the "arena"?

By the redness of the comb and size of the wattles. A hen would be more yellow/pink in the face right up until just before she starts to lay.

I just bought some BLRW chicks. I am new to this territory and I know they cannot be sexed. However, since it was a straight run, can someone be kind enough to advise what the lighter colored ones will look like as adults?

Also, 2 of the striped ones already have tiny feathers at 2 Days old even though they are the smallest of them all. Does that signify anything for BLRW
