Don't know about colors, but they are SO cute... all hunkered down. And sleeping.

I'm sure we're gonna be at that point pretty soon. They're growing so fast that if all else is quiet you can practically hear them growing...

Hi! These are my new BLRW babies. I've had them for almost two weeks now. Apparently, modeling is very hard work - two went to sleep on me!

Any guesses what color's they might be? I'm hoping the sleeper in the middle will turn out to be a splash...

Here is a pic of two of my BLRW chicks enjoying the sunshine out in the run @ 4 weeks - - the one on the left is a splash - - it looks like all 3 of yours are splash .....

Does anyone know of anyone raising any Gold Laced Wyandottes? I got some from a hatchery last year and they weren't the best. They are in my laying coop and lay very well. But I'm looking for something closer to the standard. Any help would be great. Mike

Take a look here - http://www.paulspoultry.com/golden_laced.html

I
love the GLWs - may be my favorite of the color patterns. Where did you get your hatchery GLWs from? I have some from Mt. Healthy that I think are really pretty, but I would love to get some from Jesse Paul, along with other Wyandottes.

I know paulspoultry have them and they are beautiful I just didn't want to order so many.
How long does everyone keep their wyandotte chicks in the brooder? Mine are a little over 7 weeks now and just don't want to slow their growth. I would keep a light with them if I did move them. Just wondering how long other chicken people wait.

Good question Cedar Post!
My SLW will be 5 weeks Wednesday and I really want to put them in the coop then. They have just about out grown their brooder now. I have the heat lamp down to 70-75 degrees now, but it will be in the 40's at night ... hmmmm that worries me.
