My Columbian and Golden-Laced Wyandottes are 26 weeks old and not laying yet. I put a light in the coop about 10 days ago. Any thought on when we might start seeing eggs? I've read that they are late to mature but their combs are bright red now.

WOW! they are so striking. Mine are just now starting to show some gray spotting coming through on the feathers. They were born in May so I'm guessing there will be a few more months before I know what they will really look like. I'm excited.
