The "You Just Made My Day" Challenge

My boss made my day - she bought donuts this morning.

One thing we enjoy doing is to pay a little extra when we get on the Turnpike and tell the attendant to use it for the people behind you as far as it reaches. You should see the looks on their faces when they pass you!
Another thing I like to do is to take my children and puppies to a local nursing home for a visit. It is great for EVERYONE involved!

I try to always make it a point to ask how the cashier is, or someone I pass by in Wal-Mart...something like that.

I'll try to do something else nice. =]

Actually, I did 2 nice things today.

#1 I held the elevator in the parking garage for a pregnant gal that was obviously trying to hurry to make it.

#2 I bought lunch for my girlfriend Mary who mentioned she was out of cash.

Makes my day when I can do one small thing for someone.

Um, well I do stuff but I dont ever really remember it for very long... I like to chat with the old ladies in the checkout line at the grocery stores...who knows when the last time was that they had a conversation with someone besides their cat?

I dont like to mention the things I try to do for people. I try to do things in secret. but here goes
I made pickled quail eggs for a church member
I gave 3 dozen eggs to a neighbor
I gave 3 doz. eggs to sil and 3 more to bil
i changed the light bulbs in my mil ceiling fan
called my neighbor to see if she was alright
gave 6 doz. eggs to my dd best friend cause I know they needed them
gave away some homemade grape jelly to someone cause she tried to make it but it didnt set.
there are a whole lot more things this is just with in the past couple of days. Im not braggaing I try to do things for people all the time that is just how I am. I like to give, I dont like to receive. that is the gods honest truth. I have always tried to help when i can I just dont have anything to help anyone with. I try to treat others the way I want to be treated, alot of times though it just gets throwed back into your face. but oh well life goes on, we need to treat others with kindness and respect, no one deserves to be treated poorly. thank you for reminding me of this I appreciate it, I know I could do better.

I'm in for this too. I just love to talk with people, and its amazing just how much you can learn from a total stranger, after only a few minutes of talking with them. Also, a smile goes a long way.
