I think its until she reaches 12 months, but I'm not sure really

I have 6 month old Australorp and I was wondering if he would be in rooster or cockeral.

I entered my 6 month old GLW as a hen as she is laying but I don’t know if that is right? I think a cockerel is under a year but it is confusing!
