Egg 2 has hatched. Mom sent me the pocture. I'll get a good one when I get home. Egg 1 has pipped. Mom said Nugget Jr. is not very active. He sleeping for the most part. That is normal, right? I'll know. When I get home.View attachment 2972652

Thought so. He is up and eating and drinking now. He can't quite get his feet under him though.

Well. Nug Nug is the most energetic day old I have ever seen! Egg 3 (Now Downy) also hatched. Very quickly may I add. He pipped at Noon and was hatched when I got home after school. Egg 1 pipped and had been pipped for 24+ hours. I decided to help. I got pretty much the top half off. Nothing happened. I basically hatched it leaving the bottom portion with the umbilical cord. It looked bloated and I could see the yolk under the skin. It died during the night. So we have 2 healthy chicks. Out of 4 refridgerated eggs. I would say that is good.

Golden Laced Sebright cross. I think they are crossed with OEGB but they have 0 stripe. They honestly kinda look like Cochin Bantam chicks. No feathered feet. They are either Sebright x OEGB or Sebright x Bantam Cochin.

OMG - SO CCCCCUTE! Makes me want to cuddle them and pet them and smooch them and..... you get the idea, LOL! They're going to be stunning birds as adults .
