That's perfectly normal, the mother tries to stay away from the babies as much as possible as to not attract predators. Just check their bellies in the morning and make sure that they are plump and solid. If not, then take the mother and babies inside and put the mother on her back on your lap and hold her down (it may take 2 people to do that ;) ) and let the babies nurse from her for about 5-10 minutes, then, check their bellies again to make sure they are full. The mother should have pulled her off her nipples to expose them, if not, pull the hair yourself (it wont hurt the mom)

Thanks so much! That answered so many questions. They could have been born within the past 24 hours, as the umbilical cords are off, and when the kids That are caring for them came last (24 hours ago ) there were no bunnies. 2 babies have died already. This is her first litter, and we heard that the first litter usually doesn't make it. The owners will be coming home tonight, and as this is their first experience as well, I will relay that information. Thanks again!
